Why is it hard to find friends on here?

Not really, but be aware that a lot of people will live really far away from you so the "let's go grab dinner" type friends will probably be rare.

if you think about it, almost everyone is anonymous behind a screen without their real pic and names. It takes a minute to really get to know someone. So it can sometime lack authenticity. It is hard to say when people can also say whatever and represent as anything w/o really knowing for sure. Some people just say anything to impress or talk big game in the virtual community here as well. I do think there are a small number of genuine connections and people on here though. People also come and goes as they like.

Lately its just been like that, its mostly since people don't get engaged in actual conversation under the questions so it sparks little moments for it to escalate into DM's / friendship.

Like if I share a bit of myself on an opinion and all I get is a like or a "Thats awesome!" conversation is dead at that point so then it stays like that.

G@G is actually more clicky than people think. Also, people come and go on this sites, so unless you have them added outside of the site, you may or may not see them again.

I’ve used this site since 2021 and one thing I’ve noticed is that most women are here for male validation and men are here to use someone to get off too😂 it’s very rare to find someone to actually bond with on here (at least from my experience)

GaG is a microcosm of the general population. It is hard to find friends in the outside world. There are many different kinds of people in the world just as there is here in GaGtown. There has been new members lately and I think i have made a couple of new friends.

Ask some questions and see who answers them. Be engaging and friendly.

I don't think it is hard, but friendships... GOOD friendships. They take time. I have friends who would put their hands in fire for me, but these friendships have lasted for over 10 years already.

You have to be patient. You can judge from someone's opinions how they are as a person and maybe go from there and see if you could see yourself becoming friends with them.

Honestly in my experience on this site I have found some really good friends and it hasn't proven to be difficult but I do agree that it takes time to build a good friendship on here like it is in person.
