How is your weekend going?

For us the weather held up, so we had a poolside get together with my mother, my father's widow and a friend of my wife. Just lazing around and having cold drinks and food.

In the evening we were invited from the couple we hang out with, and we spent a very chill evening with them.

This weekend was the tail end of two back to back vacations, one with friends and one as a family. It started with hanging out by the pool at our resort, some good food, and then we traveled from the resort to my family's lake home for a day, I ran into my high school theatre teacher and got to catch up with him, and then today we took the pontoon to a sand bar before traveling back home.

My wife and I attended a funeral Saturday morning and we had dinner with my brother and his wife Saturday night. My wife worked today but it was my only lazy day for the week.

The sun has come out a bit after a miserable couple days of rain and surface flooding. Luckily because this was the state of the creek (yes creek, not river) near me.

It has been nice, chill, I am back from vacation but I still have days off of work.
So I am just resting at home watching some crime documentaries.
