Younger people, what age do you feel is old? For older people, do you feel old yet at your current age or does the bar move as you get older?

I just hit 45 a few days ago and I feel like I'm getting old now. 50 seems to be my benchmark at the moment. Maybe that changes when I get there.

I don't think age determines how "old" you are; I think age is more of a feeling. The more years you get under your belt, the more likely you are to feel old, but I don't think that they are as closely tied as people think.

So, if I am looking at someone to determine whether I think they are old or not, I don't consider the number of their years, but the vivacity of their personage.

1, when I was 5 , age 30 was very old. At age 10, age 30 stopd being old but 39 old.

2, i am old 48!

The bar did move but i passed it, it doesn't move to include me as not old.

3, at my ma's birthday we sang happy birthday until how old everyone stopd. I emphasized the word old "how OLD are you now" she was mad!

But really even 4 is four "years OLD".

50 was when it really started to affect me. There is a reason why there are no professional athletes past 50.

When I was young, I thought that 30 was old. When I turned 25, I realized that I was a quarter century old, but still young. At my age now, I may be numerically old, but I don't feel old.

I don't feel old mostly because I can outperform most people in their 20s physically.

I’ve never had issue with age or valued birthdays. We’re in an interesting gen that will see more and more people pass 100 years. So instead of 2/3s…we’re only half way there.

Im in better shape now than i was in my 30s. Old gets older the older you get.
