Do you keep fresh flowers in your home?

After finding out that lilies, one of my favorite flowers, was incredibly toxic to my cats I’ve avoided keeping any fresh flowers in my home out of fear of what might happen if I have a curious cat that tries to eat it and something goes horribly wrong.

Yes lilies are actually the worst because the toxins can be airborne. Many flowers are safe to be around cats though 😊

Even still, at this point it’s not worth the trouble of cutting the stems, finding a vase, and getting my cats to leave the new thing alone

My wife liked to keep regularly fresh flowers at home, and she took care of them. Sometimes I brought some flowers of nice little branches from the garden. Now she has passed away since years, and having many plants in my house, I nearly always have in a glass of water in the kitchen some fallen off remains of some trimming, and take care of them.

No, But instead, we have small Earthen pots to keep small flowering plants. So we don't have to slaughter flowers from outside and bring them in and change them daily like dummies.
A sustainable ecosystem, where just watering 2-3 days. and manure every 6 months works fine.

Living plants. Spider plant and mother-in-law's tongue are great in rooms because they actually give off oxygen overnight so they improve sleep quality.

I do have fresh flowers, I have to watch what I buy as my cats tend to chew on some or remove petals. They brighten the place up and my hay fever can manage having them in the house.

I do buy my wife flowers once in a while. Since she's in the hospital I buy them more frequently and bring them up to her so she has something pretty to look at

When wild flowers are in bloom I will go out and cut some for the house.

I don't do this cuz it would be really very inconvenient to do so. And also I have allergies. However in my front yard and my back Yard I have many flowering plants and right now they are all in Bloom

No. I keep flowers alive on the plant & keep that plant in home or near home🙂
