I'm a mother of 3 babies, and my husband is a child-loving, family-oriented person. These are one of the traits that have always been important to me.

1 yWell... This needs some context:
To an extent. But if he is signed up for every child program there is and is constantly playing with kids, there's a problem. If he dreams of becoming an au pair and is always dreaming up ways to interact with kids... yikes.
Guys who are children's ministry directors, babysitters, pastors who spend tons of time and energy on kids (to the exclusion of adults), school assistants or daycare workers, basically any career that has a lot of access to kids, potentially without supervision. All suspect. Most guys have zero interest in those jobs. It's particularly concerning if he has no interest in kids once they hit puberty... Pedos are clever and will plan for years targeting a child. They are extremely nice and helpful and always available. That's why they don't get caught and why they molest hundreds of children in their lifetime.
But... a guy who plays with his nieces and nephews and is interested in interacting with people of all ages is very attractive.
111 Reply@HighValue I hear that. But that wasn't a comparison I was making. The question was "Ladies, do you love it when a man loves kids?" not "Are men or women more likely to be abusers?" I was simply giving some things to watch for. There are more cases of women abusing kids than men, and that's inarguable.
But, in all honesty, why take issue with what I said? It was merely a caution.- 1 y
I have worked in schools for 14 years and seen how harmful women have been to kids, along with how harmful single mothers have been for kids too.
Saying that men that have jobs that have unsupervised access to kids are suspicious just promotes the LIE that men are more dangerous to kids, when it is often the other way around. I am tired of lies like that being pushed by women, and it is commonly pushed in schools so girls grow up seeing men/boys as bad, and many boys see themselves as less valuable and bad just for being born a male. It also contributes to more youth suicide by boys/teens too, but society in general is okay with suicides as long as it affects boys/men more. @HighValue I can see you have had bad experiences with women and that informs your view, which is fine. I am sure you feel as though men are painted the bad guys, and likely have a lot of experience with that. But that wasn't what I was driving at with my opinion., that's all. As someone in education, I'm sure you understand the importance of dialogue and avoiding black and white thinking in disagreements. I want to have a dialogue, and I apologize for any offense given.

I see you have suspicions of men that show interested in interacting with children but why are women the exception to the rule?
i have news for you. The ones that show less to no interest in children are usually the worst abusers of children not exclusively their none biological children but more especially their none biological children. Those that show less to no interest in children can easily fit into the following.
A. Men lessor interested in children men that feel obligated to show interest in children in order to gain favor from the biological mom, gain favor amongst their peers society or all the above. And yet when they are alone with those children the men want nothing to do with them closing those children off wanting nothing to do with them and even potentially turn to abusing them though emotional neglect or psychical neglect and or abuse.
B. Men that show elevated interest in children. Men that actually love and wanted children biological or not only due to the deliberate destruction of the institution of marriage men that were never afforded children of their own and in fact are excluded from any and every aspect having anything to do with children and forbidden to go anywhere near where children gather due to the threat of either being accused or raising suspicions. In other words men deprived of children in every aspect of their lives. @CB-Raido-Time The question asked was, "Ladies, do you love it when a man loves kids?" It pertained to men, not women. My response was a caution, and gave some clues to pay attention to, that's all. If the question were "Men, do you love it when a woman loves kids?" I'd give some different cautions.
My question to the guys taking offense to some clues on the behavior of pedophiles is: Why does it bother you? You should be cheering me on to protect children from those sickos...- 1 y
Even though the question pertains to asking women what do they think about a man that loves kids, the answer the response was negative and stigmatizing men and yes that is a huge concern to me I take that personal and I would take it personal because as I mentioned already men including myself can't even go near children and this answer play a major role to why that is the attitudes and paranoia driven toward us men.
The demonization and paranoia has greatly affected men aiding the children of the devil to make unjust laws against us and remove us from every aspect of anything to do with children.
A couple of videos for you and the second video explains the first. Pay close attention to every word of the video, it has affected me personally.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQEOttkV_nI @CB-Raido-Time I don't see how the videos are relevant, but I watched them. The first seems like common sense to me; not allowing a single male to adopt a female child? Makes sense. The second is an old, dramatized video of shaking, which is obviously abuse. I don't see the correlation between the two, though. We know both men and women abuse children. Sickos.
What I am wondering, though, is what your point is? I've made my point clear, but I don't see what exactly triggered you. I made an observation of how certain men will go to significant lengths to be around children on a regular basis, and explained why that was concerning. I then said that men who play with children and show genuine care and concern for people of all ages is attractive. I was merely pointing out that an inordinate interest in kids only is a red flag.
What are you trying to say? That a guy who wants to be around only kids constantly is not a concern? I am trying to understand here.- 1 y
I don't see how the videos are relevant, but I watched them. The first seems like common sense to me; not allowing a single male to adopt a female child? Makes sense? How about the other way around putting the shoe on the other foot would it make sense to you and be fair then if a female wasn't allowed to adopt a male child? And that being only one single video not to mention all the demonization put on men in entertainment and mass media and the entire legal system the biased unfair laws against men and you can not correlate it and connect the dots?
You say you don't get the point behind the two videos that I shared for you but how did you miss the point with the title, the issue, is written right in the title of the video? That not to mention the woman in the video grilling the little girl to tears over the woman's own paranoia of men? You haven't a clue how bad that video hurts each and every time I watch it.
But OK all that aside. After I took care of children during the 80/90's and even into the early 2000's the majority of the children being girls, by the way, and after taking care of a three year old who's mom abandoned her at my house in the night for 7 months to go do her thing be wild and free while I became both mom and dad to her little one 7 months of my life only then to be told that I wasn't allowed to adopt girls because I'm a he and not a she.
All the above in addition that because I am a he not a she just going where near where children gather raises suspicious creates paranoia. And by the way, these problems are only prevalent in western countries where the devil's children rule and feminist ideology has taken control of everything in order to dominate men which isn't a problem in a none western country such as Russia, - 1 y
"What are you trying to say? That a guy who wants to be around only kids constantly is not a concern? I am trying to understand here."
Those men aren't a concern. I hang out with mostly kids, teens, and on occasion younger adults, for the simple fact that I enjoy playing video games. As most people get older, they move away from gaming, and after they do, it still takes the same amount of players to fill a lobby in custom games, and to do so regularly requires making friends who still play those games.
We are not seeking out any specific age group, we just add random people who are in prior game lobbies we entered, and make friends that way. Doing this automatically results in it mostly being a much younger crowd. We would prefer it was in our age group, but that just isn't the case unfortunately.
Women overthink things and make men into imaginary monsters.
The reality is that if more adults weren't boring, hobby-less, jaded, uninspired, anti-play, judgmental, aspiration-less, and lacking in awe of the world around them, I'd be hanging out with them instead.
But no, most women think everything we do is suspect.
if you ask me thats a pretty evil way to look at men.
Maybe more women just need to stop hating fun and go play some halo or dragon ball if its so hard for women to understand this. - 1 y
Whenever i'm around adults, they'd rather talk about politics, their job, relationships, and whine about all things they hate.
Whereas a kid will talk about dinosaurs, sci-fi, video games, the coolest bug they saw the other day, art they made, etc.
I'd much rather listen to the latter, because its not boring and negative.
Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yThe women I've been around... they find it hot when a good looking guy is at least OK with kids, if they are supposedly looking to "settle down."
Best response is that me being good with kids is... tolerable (and nothing is said either way). But it's not something that works in my favor as far as women are concerned.
With me, it seems as if women act that it MUST be either a sign that I am a secret pervert of some kind... or at the very least, I can't hold an adult conversation (neither of which is true), and I have had several girls tell me this stuff.
I don't know if that's a state thing, or there's something with women in my area, or everyone is just looking for "F-Buddies..." and don't want to be in a long term relationship... but it's never really been something they consider worthwhile. And now days, guys have to protect themselves and be EXTRA cautious, otherwise they get labeled a creep or pervert, so we back way off.00 Reply502 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. Kids are okay but you can never let your guard down around them since people are watching for the smallest little thing to accuse you of being some horrific pedophile. I feel nervous patting a kid on the back when they hug me because people might view me as some sort of sick person..
Meanwhile women can play with kids all they want and nobody bats an eye. Kind of turns me off to the whole children thing.. especially when if I become a father and take a child of mine out to a playground by myself? I will be viewed as a predator.

1 yMy husband, a man much older than me, loves kids. He has ten of them. Three grownup kids from his previous marriage, and seven with me. Our oldest is 14, and our youngest was born November of last year. I’m 34, and my husband is 69. We’ve been married for fifteen years.

1 yYes because I’m a volunteer preschool Sunday school teacher and my neighbors kids often come over so a lot of my off time is spent with kids.
