Isn’t this so weird for a “friend” to act this way lol?

my “friend” needed my straightener for her birthday tomorrow & she said she’ll get it at 5:30. I told her i’m going to the movies with my boyfriend so i’ll just bring it tomorrow. since i stay close and I’ll be passing her way. Anyway she texted me “ it’s always something, don’t worry about it”.

back then she would make jokes like you better not be with your boyfriend as a joke but it all makes sense now.

so i said “what the heck, your birthdays tomorrow stop rushing me again (because she’s rushed me for straightener yesterday for an event) I then said If I want to hang out with my boyfriend I can & that she’s being weird and it’s sounds like she’s jealous & that i’ll be quick to distance myself if needed “

She then cursed me out and stuff and said her reasoning behind this wasn’t because of a guy and claimed it’s because I put my boyfriend before my friends. I told her it’s sounds like something deeper because i could’ve brought the straightener after the movies or tomorrow so it’s weird either she has a crush on me or She’s single mother & her dating life isn't the best so she’s jealous of my life & i’ve been nothing but a good friend even with our busy schedules, mind you we hung out yesterday… LOL. Like all my friends know i make time for them when i can.

Well, she could've said it being impatient and the reason is because she thinks you put her boyfriend first. Which, I feel isn't an uncommon thing so there it does seem It bothers her and was getting slightly annoyed, but you sure did let her have it🤔

What I'm trying to say is yes she was annoyed, and yes she was being impatient you're right. But it doesn't mean she didn't like you as a friend either. But you got sick of it and now y'all probably not friends anymore haha

Lol we’re not. Why make me feel bad in that situation & knowing I do make time to hang out or i’ll be busy with school and work & she’ll be busy too. Also who wouldn’t want to be with their boyfriend/girlfriend almost everyday. Plus, ever since I got a boyfriend true colors have shown only twice though, everyone else has been supportive and love my boyfriend of almost 2 years. So I’d rather be aware of weird slick comments because it most likely represents something.. than to deal with it over and over again and have my energy be wasted by someone I thought was a good friend.

Like this has happened with 1 other “friend” thank the lord because all of a sudden I get a boyfriend she used to literally try to compete because her relationships weren’t working either.. I told her she’s been acting odd and comforted her each time and I ended that friendship as well. It’s so weird LOL.
