Why would my friend invite me and then go with someone else?

My friend and I were going to hang out downtown today and go shopping a little bit. She came up with the idea and we were both solid on the fact that we'd be going together at 2:00. So I texted her at 1:30 to make sure all was good and she didn't respond for an hour. Then she randomly responded "I already went" and it was with our other friend who I'm also friends with. She's one of my best friends and we do everything together. I get it if she wanted to have some time apart or if she just wanted to go with our other friend, but she could've at least texted me before she went telling me some excuse, right? I responded with "oh ok" to kinda show her I was hurt and all she said was "yes." What is going on?
