How come some people don’t like to see others happy?

My friend husband is returning from overseas and she’s posting him a lot on social media because she’s happy and it’s been a long journey. However, jealous women and others destroyed her character so bad that I feel bad for her. They kept their life private but she’s happy her husband is returning. People out here making her look like a complete villain. No reason at all for the disrespect towards her, but it more so have to do with friends he needs to let go. People been bitter since he married her

I’ll never understand why the quiet people are always the people to get picked on. Her husband knows he have to leave a lot of people alone when he return. The only thing he been saying to people is “that part of my life is private”
