Is it ok to ignore school bully?

I was a victim of severe bullying. It ranges from name calling, being pricked with needle, made to sit on a plastic chair while everyone enjoyed a table and a chair, devalued or the worse sexual abuse. I was treated as prostitute for having a large bust. Being an introvert and a non speaker of their language, got ignored. I paid no much attention since they were all from small town and had no idea what the word 'Respect' meant and never wanted to be associated.

It did have an adverse effect on my self esteem.

I don't have any idea where they all are and has instructed my friends to not pass my contact at all.

Now, I am in a good position making a big figure for myself. I happened to see some of these bullies who are in the neighbourhood. They are 26, unemployed or low wage jobs, staying with parents, largely due to bad behaviour, the way they were lazy to attend university or get good grades. They have conveniently forgotten the bullying and want to make things right.

I just ignored and acted like I never knew and straight up said 'I don't know you'. I didn't want their presence anywhere.

Also the old best friend, who tried to steal my ex boyfriend wants me back. She is a teen mom, has not passed school still. She told, her addict baby daddy was my relative. He fled and I would have been charged with sexual assault of minor had I not cut off ties. I told her 'People finding me with you will only lower my standards'

Is it okay or AIAH?
