Why are some kind people so witty and savage?

I never understood how a sweet, genuine and loving person can roast hard.
I have a cousin who’s like that but she’ll only be nice when someone deserves it. She can snarky a bit and very witty but she’s actually a sweet person once you get to know her. She has amazing comebacks and very feisty but she’s a sweetheart. She’ll tell you off if you’re being disrespectful and will tell you the truth even if it’s painful. I actually get shocked when some kind people aren’t as nice as people think. She once roasted the crap out of her best friend. Man she was MEAN.
Why do some sweet people hide their feelings or sweetness by sarcasm and feistiness?
I’m so nice and I have no mean bone in my body. My family and friends says I’m too nice for my own good.

I roast the absolute shit out of myself and my friends it’s all done lovingly. A love language if you will, and yes they give it back just as bad as they get. In general I’m nice but if someone disrespects my people they’re going to get roasted and I make no apologies if it hurts them because the words are intended to hurt them. Ironically I don’t care about myself I don’t care if people disrespect me but the moment that disrespect is aimed at someone I love, they’re going to wish they’d stopped before it got that far.

Whoa!!! Man you are TOUGH and mean. My cousin is the same way. She told me being nice all the time is going roger me pushed around and everything we’ll expect that from me. She told me sometime I have to be a ‘bitch’ to protect myself even if it cost hurt feelings.
I don’t wanna hurt nobody’s feelings and try to avoid it as much as I can. Problem is I don’t get much respect and I get called a coward. Even my family knows how ‘Nice’ I am and I don’t fight back. One time one of my aunts borrowed money from me and when she changed her mind, she never gave it back to me. She kept looking to see if I was looking and put the money in her purse. I wasn’t looking but I knew she did that and im angry at myself for not calling her out.

She’s not wrong. Sometimes you have to be a bitch to be heard. For me it’s in defence of others, and I do a pretty good job of defending myself it’s just not as high of a priority for me. I also grew up with brothers so I have to be tough in a way otherwise I wouldn’t have survived. Now I take being called a bitch as a compliment and am very creative in insults to people

Just like you you're nice you're probably sweet to be around as you start to get older things might change all it takes is One bad Apple to make you see things a different way but as long as you have your heart you'll stay the way you are for quite a while especially if you understand that really you're the only person that can make yourself happy you're the only person that can make yourself sad

There's going to be people in your life to bring you drama it's how you close your ears and walk away from it it will keep you happy people that bring you drama bring you chaos and judgment you don't need any of that keep being a leader and not a follower.

True. My cousin told me no matter how UHC I try to avoid hurting people’s feelings or conflicts, it’s going to happen. Even though their feelings are valid, I’m not l responsible for their feelings and I need to stop running away from conflict and I’m always afraid.
She also said I’m too afraid to take risks, defend for myself when is pathetic Ep specially for a grown woman and nobody is going to believe me when I fight back when I’m just going going to let people do what they want and push me around. I couldn’t say anything. Then she said, “Exactly! You can’t say anything because you know I’m right. Don’t tell people you will fight back when you know you won’t. I hate to tell you this but, you’re a coward.”
That really hurt my feelings.

Well I don't think you're coward at all I think you have a good heart and I think down deep you know that fighting back to some certain things that aren't even worth it because that's what people push you for they want that conflict they want you to open your mouth they want you to do something because then they can blame it all on you sometimes the best thing to do is what you're doing just walk away
And think in your mind you don't know me and you don't know what I would do it's the quiet people that you have to watch out for.. like your cousin would open her mouth and say everything that she would do to that person.

Well now that person knows what would happen or could happen so she pre-warned them but if you don't say anything then the person that you should have been talking to is wondering and thinking all the time what was why is this person so quiet why aren't they getting involved with this and it scares them because they don't know

There's people that are going to do this to you all the time they create drama because they want you to become exactly like them drama keeps your heart. Um clean and you become a follower to pick on other people forget that people that create drama are bad people because they are miserable inside and they want you to become as miserable as they are that's why they do what they do but when you are big enough to walk away from it it doesn't mean you're coward at all it means you're a bigger person and you don't need your garbage in your life to make yourself happy you have the right attitude

Now there are things in life that come up instead of stepping backwards you're going to step into it and say you know what I've had enough of this crap and you could verbally knock them out to a point or you just walk up without one word do what you're going to do and turn around and walk away and say don't ever talk to me again

No as far as I'm concerned you are a leader you are a person that people are going to look up to because you know how to handle yourself and how to control yourself and that's a beautiful thing more people should be like you

And more people should be like you by not allowing things that people do or say to affect you to turn you into a different person you know who you want to be and you know how to get there so I would stick on that path you are a leader not a follower and there's no way in this world you are a coward
