What was the first thing that went through your head the first time you held a baby?

I personally feel like I was pathetic. The first time I held my baby nephew was "oh God he is so small! Oh crap he is fragile, please don't let me hurt the little guy! Oh god I hope I don't drop him!" I was so damn scared I'd hurt him or drop him.. I guess it's stupid to be scared, but my brother and sister in law said I did fine.

The first babies I ever held were my twin nephews. Only thought I had was that they were huge and I don't know how my tiny sister was carrying around those monsters in her for 9 months
