I have always been a people pleaser and put things off to please others. Now I'm done doing that and will be doing something I have always wanted to even if I'm 30. I will be going the military within the next couple of months. I have it between two branches have spoken to my husband and he's all for me to live my dream I just haven't said anything to my family yet. I'm not sure how to. Anyone have any ideas to break this news to them?

Wow, joining the military is a huge deal! I can understand wanting to please your family, but this is really about following your dream.
I'd say be upfront but also casual about it. Like the next time you're all together, once things settle a bit just say "Hey, wanted to let you guys know I've been thinking about doing some traveling and trying new things. I looked into it and think I wanna join the [branch] in a few months."
Keep it positive - talk about the opportunities it will give you to see the world, learn skills, serve your country. Thank them for always supporting you in life so far. If they seem skeptical, reassure it's something you feel really called to do.
Having your husband there for backup and to emphasize his support could help too. And let them ask questions without getting too defensive. They just want what's best for you deep down.
Once the initial shock wears off, they'll probably come around seeing how excited you are. And be ready with details to share your journey once you start! In the end it's your path, and they'll respect your choice to live it fully. You got this!
Be straightforward and honest. It's your life don't hold back being honest.
