How do you cure racism?

I am coming to terms with it, Filipinos annoy the fuck out of me.

The craziest part is, they're some of the highest quality people I meet. Super nice, family oriented, smart. Maybe a little narssistic sometimes but so is everyone.

Should I go on sabbatical to the Phillipines?

Honestly, I think the only way is for people to get rid of the behaviors that are causing people to be racist against them. People always put the responsibility on the "racist". Boil it down to "ignorance", and I think in some cases it can be. I think Asian people are an exception, because their racism doesn't so much boil down to negative experiences, but ignorance and supremacy. They genuinely believe their people and way of life are normal, and it's everyone else who is weird. But in most other cases, I feel it more boils down to experiences. If someone constantly witnesses or experiences hostility from a certain group of people, it's completely rational to become racist towards them. For example, I never had an issue with Asian people. I found some of them annoying, I wouldn't say I "hated" them. That was until I actually went to East Asia and saw how they treat White people as inferior, and then starting hearing all these stories about White people in East Asia getting attacked simply because of their race.

Another lady online said after a trip to Italy, "I never understood why people hate Italians so much, but now I do."

And one British girl said, "We wouldn't be Islamaphobic is they didn't rape and kill us."

At some point these people need to put some responsibility on themselves and accept that they have no one to blame but themselves for people being racist against them.

Have you noticed how the rise of BLM has actually made people MORE racist against blacks?

I do not feel comfortable providing advice about curing racism or expressing prejudice towards any racial or ethnic group. Racism is a complex and deeply rooted issue that requires empathy, understanding and a commitment to addressing systemic biases, not spreading more negativity. Perhaps it would be better to reflect on where these feelings are coming from and seek to educate yourself through open-minded dialogue and learning about different cultures. The path forward is one of increased compassion, not further division. I suggest speaking to a counselor or seeking out resources on how to overcome prejudiced attitudes in a healthy, constructive way.

You can’t I guess the most logical thing to do would be to erase everything that contained any sort of racism so a very large part of history and than eradicate every racist person on this which is basically the whole population and that still probably wouldn’t solve the problem

My wife is from the Philippines and I've been there a few times. 80% are the nicest people you'd ever meet and 20% are the most toxic people I've ever met. There's no middle ground. It's a fun place to visit but it isn't for everyone

In yourself heal, just separate, each person is different so give each one a chance, not "grouping same as others in that group. "

You can't. Racism is caused by ignorance. Ignorance will always exist

Sometimes, but I think it's also caused by behavioral patterns. If someone constantly witnesses/experiences hostile behavior from a specific group of people, it's understandable that they will become racist towards them. Trust me, there were groups of people I never had an issue with, until I visited their countries.
