Never a set in stone time, but definitely sometime between 6pm and 10pm. I aim for around 7pm but some days his naps are so all over the place that it messes up his bedtime.
sleepy baby
He messed up his naps like crazy today and he’s currently still awake at 9.30pm 😭
yup i only know from my sister lol
My kids are 11 and 9 and both go to bed at 8 pm. My son advocates for a later bedtime but he's hard enough to wake up in the morning. He's about to turn 12 now in a few days so maybe I'll consider it, but if he just doesn't wake up in the mornings it will be back to 8 am.
When they were small, 8pm or earlier. Getting later as they got older, but not later than 10 on a school night. (They had to be up by 6:30 for school the next day.)
The Children's Channel (KiKa. de) in Germany has had a short program, the Sandman, at ten to seven to send the youngest off to bed for the last 65 years. As they get older, there's a cartoon for another 25 minutes, followed by age-appropriate science and news until 8, then "young adult" series. All 100% advert free.
Pro-tip: if you have subtitles on the TV while the kids are watching it helps them learn to read!

Shoot for 8:30. Realistically it usually ends up closer to 9.

My 5 kids all go to bed at different times. Usually between 8 and 12. With my older ones going to bed first and the babies going to bed last
7:30pm. Usually she gets tired earlier anyway.
We shot for 10-11 pm for our teens.
