Why is the new generation so bent on blaming their “narcissistic” parents for how they are now?

I get that our parents didn’t get everything right. Most of our parents emotionally neglected us but I doubt it was intentional. For example, my parents were very young and married. They had me and my sister to raise. On top of dealing with marriage. It wasn’t likely that they were gonna get everything right. Even now at my adult age my parents still have their somewhat emotionally abusive ways but I don’t blame them. They’re still learning, recovering and understanding. I sometimes have to remember they’re only 50. They still have long to go and more realizations to make about themselves and where they went wrong with my sister and I. I think our generation needs to work more on giving grace. Rather than crying and pointing the finger.
