My girl is wearing sweat pants, long thick socks, slippers, and a hoodie. And yet, she still feels the need to put her icy hands up the back of my shirt and steal my warmth. It feels like half-way between being stabbed and being electrocuted. She was definitely built for tropical climates, as California winters are "extreme" to her. LOL. I think it's about 60F outside right now.

We're going up to the mountains around Christmas and she's likely going to see snow for the first time in person, but I think she's going to need to wear about 8 layers to survive.

My wife is out right now., buying things for her grandkids. There is no woman with me now. When she left, she had on a gray sweater and blue jeans, covered by her dark blue winter coat, with a knitted cap on her head, covering her ears.. And tennis shoes, which I usually call sneakers. In case you didn't get it, it was cold when she left, about 40 F (4 C).
