1 yLiterally my entire life. So that would be 68 years. His brother is a year younger, so I've known him for 67 years. Another friend I've known since I was 5, so 63 years. There are several friends I've known for 45-55 years.
I don't see most of them often because they all live out of state. A few days ago I saw one that I've known about 47-48 years. A couple of months ago I saw the one I've known my whole life. I don't remember meeting him, but I know we met as babies.00 Reply

1 yFifty-seven years. As is our tradition, I called my high school buddy midnight New Year's Morning, and he told me he spent two weeks in a London, Ont. hospital recovering from breathing problems owing to heart issues (he's 74, three years older than I).

My oldest friendship is with my best friend from high-school. We're like sisters...
In high-school everyone thought we were sisters because of how close we were. And we lived in the same neighborhood and all.
Today, I love her and we can go an entire month without speaking... And then talk everyday for a month like we never stopped...

@7Phoenix7 Everyone used to think that me and my best friend were brothers. I have a twin brother and when the three of us were together people thought that me and my friend were the twins.
You just made me think of this.
All my life, so 45 years. She's 4 months older than me and she's my cousin.
I can tell her anything and everything. Even though the Atlantic is separating us nothing has changed. We text daily and video chat every other day

m 1 yclose, sustained friendship... we recently celebrated 22 years of it... I met her aged 12, back in middle school
childhood friends that I still meet today from time to time... that's been, pretty much 30 years, we are close in a very familiar friendly way and our families too... but that hits differently, lol
10 Reply 585 opinions shared on Family & Friends topic. My longest friendship is about 50 years. She moved next door to me when I was 6 years old. We became friends then dated briefly then broke up but still remained friends. We never lost touch. Both of our spouses are fine with us going places together because they know there's nothing going on between us, we're just good friends.

1 y30+ years or so. We went to war with each other when we were your age. That pretty much makes us all friends for life. We've spit-roasted Chinese hookers together and did High fives and shit during. Those are friends for life.

PS: not a single friendship from my school years lasted beyond school...
