How old your oldest friendship?

Mine is of 11 years. We don't happen meet a lot but I am very thankful for having a person like her in my life. She's my bestie

Wow, I was just speaking to a friend who had spent Fri night with friends he has known for 40 years, since he was about 10. I have 2 friends I have known for 20 years or more, but, I grew up with a woman whose family was our family's neighbors since I was 8 or 9. Her family moved out to California and we lost contact for years. I found her on Facebook once, and the rest is history. She and I play Words With Friends together, a scrabble type game you can download on your cell. So that is about 50 years knowing her, and although she isn't what I'd call a true friend as she is so far-- we share a lot of stuff about our families now.

I've got a fwo that are pretty much tied at 17 years. Neither lives in the same city as me anymore, but we still get together like 3 or 4 times a year, and we are constantly texting/snapping and call each other regularly.

I met her first year of middle school... when we were 12

and as of late, we don't live as near as we used to, but we make sure to meet a few times a year... online, we've always been in touch

Discounting family, then 2 (boy n girl) from kindergarten, I’ve played sports with one since we could walk. The other is a girl some sports but mainly just being there for each other. It’s like 25 years or so.

67 years, 66 years, 62 years, and 48 years. Two of their parents are still alive, so I've known them just as long. I can't even count the number of people I've known for over 40 years.

Since infancy. Our mothers were friends and always had us play so we grew up together, and subsequently we did become best friends and still are, even though we live in different parts of the country now.
