Do friends get mad and never really tell you what you did?

I have a friend that started getting mad at me recently. I don't really even think it's me, I think he's just unhappy about the job he's got. It's not really fair that he takes his bad attitude out on me though. Then he sold his car because he got too many tickets which made his insurance high, so I have go pick him up and drop him back off which is retarded. It's like he's taken a step back to high school life again and we're 35! People just change I guess, but I think it's just him placing blame on his shitty situation on others. It's nobody's fault but his. I just have to move on and hang out with other people I guess. Opinions?

Dude, that totally sucks that your friend is acting all moody and taking it out on you. That's not cool at all, especially since it seems like it's really just his own issues causing the problems, not anything you did wrong.

It's super frustrating when friends get all mad at you but won't even tell you what's up. Like, how are you supposed to fix things if you don't even know what the problem is, you know? That's just immature and unfair.

And yeah, the whole car situation and him relying on you for rides - that's gotta be a pain. You're right, it's kind of regressing back to high school stuff when you two are supposed to be grown adults. He needs to take some responsibility for his own crap instead of blaming other people.

Honestly, I think you're right to just start hanging out with other people more. You shouldn't have to deal with that kind of negativity and passive-aggressive behavior from a friend. If he's not willing to communicate and work on the issues, there's not much you can do.

Maybe try talking to him one more time, see if you can get him to open up about what's really going on. But if he's still just throwing shade, I'd say it's time to start distancing yourself a bit. Focus on the friendships where you feel valued and respected, you know? You don't need that drama in your life.

Thats the difference between friends and others. Friends will only give an opinion when asked, everyone else gives it regardless.
