Do you think my aunts response was kinda rude?

Im 31, and my aunt is 67. She's had to live in a little trailer for years and and she's been getting sick a lot. She started puking up black stuff recently, and she's gonna have a CT scan or whatever they are called. Well I own a mobile home. I hate seeing her live in that tiny trailer so we are both in the process of moving her and i into the mobile home. I'm giving her the biggest bedroom with a bathroom connected to it so she doesn't have to run down the hall to use the bathroom. Also letting her display her little glass statues allover the place. I don't really care, but whatever. We get along 99% of the time, and we are making great progress cleaning and moving our stuff in. So we were sitting out on the deck talking while she was smoking a cigarette. She then told me that she smokes a bowl of Marijuana occasionally. She asked if she could smoke it in her room with the windows open. I said no because I'm bringing my cat with me, and I don't want to subject her to breathing the smoke in. I told my aunt that and she was like "oh it's not gonna hurt her" I was just silent. A couple mins later after we went inside, I told her I'd think about the weed thing, seeing as I wasn't sure if it would actually effect my cat as long as she's not in the same room. She said it's not gonna hurt her feelings if I don't let her smoke the weed inside, but I kinda feel like just saying no for the comment she made. What do you think?
