My older sister bites her boyfriend in arguments is this behavior normal?

Last night my sister's boyfriend who happens to be living together called us that my sister and him got into an argument out of nowhere my sister bites him. Is my sister dealing with mental issues or having a mental breakdown? This behavior is not normal. Ok yes woman we are very emotional but biting your partner is not normal. Last time I allowed my sister to stay over she scream F*** Zonic at the top of her lungs and punch my walls and made these huge wholes on my Walls which as very disrespectful of her. Should we be worried?

Yes you should be worried. At the very least she never learnt to contain anger as a child. Biting her boyfriend is the same as him punching her in the face.

Since she has gone over the top with you, how much time is there from her starting an argument and being violent? I think the shorter it is the more worried you should be.

You won't know what her limits are and I'd think they could increase over time to include threatening with knives for example. Clearly she is not rationale when she is angry.

She needs diagnosis and counselling. Maybe it is drugs? She needs some action.

She's stressed by the sound of it and behaving abnormally.

What is going on in her life that could be creating this and has she had any prior behaviour this out of the ordinary?

Well my sister would punch walks and objects and scream loudly. Also my sister loves ves to accumulate stuff. This one times I was helping her find a doctor's document order she needs at her appointment to go to the hospital when I asked her about it we were both calm out of no where my sister jumps attacking me a neighbor intervien and save my life. She would act out quiet a few times here and there. Now it's normal to have disagreements with your spouse. It's not normal to bite your spouse in the middle of an argument.

It does sound like she has some challenges with her ability to control her impulses. The biting thing is a symptom and not normal. I think psychiatric or psychological treatment may be in order.

I agree with you. This behavior are not normal another thing also she does scream and yell in the stores to the company staff. I try helping my sister by staying at our house but my husband and I after she punch our walls we decided to called my nephew and gave him taken care of his mother we have toddlers for the safety of our kids. My husband and I we felt disrespected after my sister punch our walls and when she attacked me is when my husband and I had enough of her nonsense.

There's maybe a chemical imbalance in her brain that may be causing this antisocial behaviour. I hope you can find a way to get her to treatment.
It's important that you and everyone deal with her with kindness, it's not her fault or her as a person but something going on in her that's messing with her emotional control.
I would try to give her some compassion for this in spite of what this has made her do. It's almost like alcoholic or drug addiction causes people to do weird shit and that hurts others. Don't allow her to carry on until she realises there is an issue and her son needs help to support her recovery and treatment

I see your point. In this case it's best we get her a professional to help her. We are not doctors we have no idea about the mental field. I did had friends who recommended us to get her into yoga classes and get her into eating a healthy meal habits. I was told by doctors food does have a huge impact. Thank you for your kindness and not being so harsh about my sister I lost count the times people in general told us well she's an adult not child she should know better. Yeah you do make good point. We just need to find the help that is fit for her.

Good idea. It's best you show compassion before something terrible happens and get her the help she probably needs to get herself into a functional state of mind.
