If this is your first time here, there are a number of things you should know and that will make your stay with GAG more enjoyable.

1. Be fair with your judgment and replies you give to those with genuine problems.

9. GAG is not a dating, a pick up or hookup site. There are others, much better ones elsewhere
10. If you like a reply, you can upvote it. It shows your appreciation to the one that took the time to answer your question or just because you agree with what was written
11. When you ask a question, you can grant two Most Helpful Opinion awards to those that you feel deserve it. Make use of this option
12. Other than that, enjoy GAG and hope to read your inputs.

Can I give you a piece of advice?

Be very careful who you accept as friend. I see someone with a picture of a naked body requesting you to be friends. Initially, the conversation will be normal but soon, he will want you to share some nudes. I know because I have been the victim of such people as well.

Hello and welcome to GAG. I hope you will have a good stay here. Well a couple of suggestions I would give you are. First please go through the FAQ section of this site so that you will understand how this site works.

Second is if you want to be on this site and make it enjoyable for you then there are some things you must know and you should do as well.

1. This site is not for someone who is very sensitive and those whose feelings are hurt easily. Hence there is nothing wrong if you are sweet, kind and sensitive type of person but you should know how to control it and when to be indifferent to users.

2. You will find lot of people here giving non-sensical opinions in the name of freedom of speech. Just learn to ignore such opinions. Give a deaf ear to people you think are outright judgmental.

That being said, I have been here for almost 10 years now (3 months short) and I have never had any problems. Hence it would depend a lot of how you can control your personality and deal with things here.
