Why do Dads care so much about their kids playing video games?

Some Dads wouldn’t let their kids play video games, and won’t give them the time to play video games. Why do you care? You not playing the video game, so why shouldn’t your kids not play video games?

Playing video games is mindless and sedentary. They are no more worthwhile than watching cartoons, but they are designed to be addictive.

The dads probably want their sons out playing sports with friends, building strength and coordination, learning how to change tires, use power tools, gain worthwhile skills and knowledge, get a job, and be productive.
