My Stepdad Is A Creep?

Is this not creepy?

A while back my mom found these notes and on the notes he would keep "tab" of what she and I would do. For instance, he's off on Mondays and Mondays are/were my running days. He'd write down the exact time I would go running and put (insert name)-went running.

Or when my mom would take me to the doctor, he would put (insert my name and my moms name)-took her to doctor at 9:00 am.

Or (insert moms name)-went out at 10 am

It was notes and notes of that.

Then, he goes through my things and has hacked into my laptop before.

Now, it'd be easy to catch him. He took the keys I had for this little box, the box just has private thoughts and notes yadda yadda inside. He recently put the keys back back which means he's been looking through my box. BUT NOW, I put my pipe in there, so I'll know if he's been looking because he's very anti whatever because he used to do it. So he'll throw a fit if and when he finds it.

He's hacked into my laptop and changed my password by accident, which is quite sad.

He's supposedly gone through my closet, he knows quite a bit about what's in there for some reason.

Is this not creepy?

My mom is my mom. She and I have a VERY open relationship, so she knows everything she needs to know

You need to tell your mom NOW. His behavior is very peculiar and isn't healthy at all. You're a teenager and entitled to privacy. It's one thing if you were a rebellious, immature, disrespectful teen who doesn't adhere to her parents. Then, your parents have a right to become a little bit more strict and maybe intrusive to safeguard you from yourself.

I suggest that your Mom install a lock on your bedroom door that only she and you have a key to. It may sound extreme but something drastic needs to be done. Keep the keys in places he will not look: You can buy 'cleaning' cans like of Pledge or Endust that open at the bottom and you can hide stuff inside. Take back your privacy. Your mom should support on this if she can't get through to this idiot. If you were my daughter, I'd do that for you.

Yeah, she gave me the key to my bedroom and has told me to always lock it whenever he's home from work or whatever. There's only 1 key and I have it, so that's good.

I mean, she knows, but he will never address the question. He'll find some response like "I don't have to dignify that question with a response"

He's just weird like that

He may be 'weird' like that but like seriously I'd wonder about your safety. Call me crazy. I hope you decide to attend college and can get out of there and away from him.

I hope I can get away...i'm not even sure if it's about me though. I feel like he does what he does to perhaps find something out about my mom. Like maybe he thinks I'm holding something of hers or something secretive and he'll "find us out" (not that there's even anything to find). He's just paranoid and it's pathetic.

He's always preaching about right and wrong yet he fails to follow his own preachings and thoughts.

i wasn't allowed to have passwords or locks on my doors when I lived at home because my dad wouldn't allow it, but he never went into my room or on my comp without my permission o_o

if he does find your stuff try and figure out why he does this... I'm so interested to see the reasoning behind it o_o

Maybe he thinks he'll catch my mom cheating or find out something about me and become the hero.

I know he hacked into my moms email, so I'm thinking it's about HER, not me. That he may think I'm holding personal items of hers which he doesn't know about(which I am) but he's just too stupid to look in the most obvious places.

She definitely knows. Actually, we came across the notes together by accident. We were looking for the dog leash and the notes were in the same drawer & yeah.

She has confronted him, but he'll always respond with "I don't have to dignify that question with a response"

That's his response to everything. He's so ridiculously manipulative and hypocritical it's amazing.

I had a grandma like that. She go in my room move my stuff around, take things, and not say anything about it. If she didn't like my room she'd take everything and throw in the middle of the floor and make me clean it up.

I get frustrated just reading this "I don't have to dignify that with a response" T.T that's bull especially since he's going through your stuff. You have a right to know ._.
