Is it bad that I don’t want to spend the weekend with my friend on Mother’s Day weekend?

My bestie asked if I was excited to come over next weekend but she didn’t really ask if I wanted to come over. I asked her isn’t it Mother’s Day weekend and she said yes. I do appreciate her inviting me over but next Sunday is going to be hard and I don’t want to be a burden and cry to ruin her mother, daughter day. It will be my second Mother’s Day without our mother so I don’t know. I appreciate her wanting me to come over but I don’t know. I can hang Friday and Saturday but….. I don’t know. She should hang with her mother.

I completely read that wrong girl, I tend to skim when I read, I’m so sorry for that and for your loss. What I meant to say in that case, I agree with you, she should spend time with her mom only so maybe encourage her to do that, don’t feel bad for not wanting to hand with her on that weekend.
