Would it piss you off if someone told you 2005 was 25 years ago, so you say it wasn't and they deny it?

My uncle died in 2005. Me and my aunt were talking about how time flies, and she said that it's been 25 years. I didn't really argue with her, because i realized we were talking about a family member who passed. I was like "it wasn't even 20 years ago" she looked deep in thought, and was like "no it was 25 years on the dot" I just said "oh okay".

I don't even know my times tables, and I could easily do the math. It's 2025. 25 years since 2000, not 2005. Dur

Maybe she confused 2000 with 2005. Older people do that sometimes.
