I'm disowned by my father's side because they hated my grandfather because he was in the military. That's the whole reason. They are psychopathic rich snobs who hated me before I was born. including my grandmother. She hates me. They have beaten me starved me cut me up with knives burned me with fire pokers strangled me. They gave me PTSD, brain damage and borderline personality disorder. I want to die everyday because of my father's idiotic selfish loser ass and his stupid decisions. I have no family. I grew up alone on my room. No friends no birthday parties no one loves me and no one ever will. The only way I deal with it it medication and electro convulsive therapy. I wish my father was dead. I wish my mom had a brain in her head to leave him. He's just as violent and abusive as they are. He broke my foot once because told him to f his "family" so he went out to garage and got a baseball bat and started swing at me. My mom got in the way and he hit her too. But she stays with him because she told me she feels protected by a man who hurts his kids and breaks their bones. I know not all women would stay but why did I get the dumbass that does?

Depends on how it happens.
If they clearly unintentionally hurt my feelings, we can talk about it and i forgive.
If i set meaningful boundaries and they repeatedly violate them, i cut them off. It sucks but blood ties do not mean we have to accept mistreatment or maltreatment.

First I'd remind myself it wasn't personal. Then I'd remind myself that bo matter where you're at in life. No matter how much you care about others or how much they care about you. You're always in this world alone. At the end of the day you really can only fully count on yourself.

It has happened because how ‘he’ treated our parents when they needed him most after years of always being there for him. He was always about money. We no longer speak. Anymore I consider myself an only child.

There's lots of ways to handle it in an unhealthy way. Bury it, lash out, attack them back, pretend it never happened, etc.

A recent event that can trace back to 2012. And I don't even like talking about it because it's a subject that they have avoided. As tho all forgiveness is theirs as I was the one all wrong. So I just bitterly bide my time until the subject is broached and the dam will break.
