For the sake of my mental health, I've had to cut off a couple of family members.

Not completely but had to cut down on communicating. I was sick of the Trump Rhetoric. She sounded like a fox news parrot that could not think at all on her own, was outraged all the time, regurgitating headlines, not able to talk past the said headline, but knew she was right about everything. It was exhausting.

I let her know I was exhausted with her rhetoric and would like to have more to talk about than just how Trump is a god and everyone else is bad. She didn't seem to understand so my last phone call I stopped her and asked if she was just calling me to annoy me or if she wanted to actually see how I was doing? She couldn't respond and seemed to just need a sounding board to parrot her latest read headlines, so I asked her to kindly change the subject and she has nothing else to talk about.

Once I shared 30 seconds of what was going on with my life, she went back into Biden and Hunter and Clinton, so I hung up lol. It's been a month. I need a break.
