I do, and he deserves a trophy. I was an emotional mess, crying and feeling overwhelmed due to a certain situation.

I didn't even say much, but he knew. Next thing I know... we're hiking... which i did not sign up for emotionally or physically lol. But then we went to eat afterwards cause he knows what good food does for me.

We talked and laughed about silly stuff until I forgot i was supposed to be sad.

Yeah that would be my bestie. She has been there for me during my worst times especially last year with my first real breakup. She was there to try and pull me out of my deep dark state of depression even when she was going through stuff herself.

And I can honestly say I have done the same. When her favorite aunt died last year, I came to her family's place like a bat out of hell to comfort her. I was the first person she called because she knew I would be there for her. No questions asked and she has done the same for me, no questions asked.

I used to but he's me as my bestie passed away over a decade ago. My other bestie is around but lives in another country and has a family. My wife can be that person but not for some time now, sadly for me

ah, this good old assumption that the best friend has an agenda, it does tell something about YOUR views. And ofc you had to get overconfident, thinking that the world has to revolve around your views. But there's a sun in the middle of the solar system, and you're too small to replace it.
