They all suck, just in different ways. If you want a perfect parent then you would need to mix the positive parts of Greatest, Silent, Boomers, and Gen X together.

I think our newer generations is losing some of the morality that helped keep things stable. And I think people now days are getting to be very selfish. In other words, I feel that the negative side is always right behind the positive side. Therefor we not seeing any real improvements, just a shift.

I can only answer on how MY upbringing was. It’s impossible to answer such a broad question when everyone (from each generation) had a different upbringing.

It's not impossible. You can observe how others are in society and make a generalization based on what you've noticed. Parenting styles are pretty easily classified by generations.
