I got in a fight with my younger cousin and everyone is putting most of the blame on me, can anyone give me advice or their opinion on the situation?

You, as the older of the 2 adversaries should have had the intelligence and wisdom not to get into a fight with a person that is younger and probably smaller than you.

I presume that the fight was physical and not verbal and you knew that you were stronger than the cousin, yet you did not take into account that he (or she) could have been harmed in any way.

We don't know about the fight; who started it, how it started. Even if your younger cousin initiated that fight, you should have been wise enough not to act on it.

You should explain to your parents and his/hers how, according to you, the cause of that fight and why you got into the fight rather than to just let the situation calm down.

Need more information. Was this a physical fight? How much older are than your cousin? You being 14 and if your cousin is like 10 I can see why everyone would blame you.
