Thoughts on my cousin situation?

Back in 2022, my cousin got his girlfriend pregnant.

Long story short, He wanted the baby, she didn't. She said she'll carry the pregnancy to term. But in reality, she was planning on getting rid of the baby without my cousin's (or any of our) knowledge.

I don't know what state she went to, but she went to a different state to get an abortion (presumably under her parents insurance). But even then I think it's free in some state.

After going missing for awhile with her not sending her location to him. Of course we all got worried but my cousin was the most given she is pregnant. After attempts to know where she is, she eventually came to say she got an abortion. Which pissed him off. But she claimed that both agreed to look passed this. Reason I said "claim" was because...

Fast forward to Jan this year, cousin filed a lawsuit against her for the abortion. I presume they broke up.

Now as of June, he won the lawsuit. She now has to pay around $120,000 because of what she did.

But just last Friday, she committed suicide (overdosed on meds) with a note basically saying the lawsuit was the result of her death.

Now her family is trying to sue him for her death. But the judge didn't bring it to court. Now my cousin filed a restraining order against them.
