How do I stop my son from turning into his abusive father?

Every time I get around my child father like when I saw him in July he spit in my face, choke me and push me and slap me in front of our son. My son only one rn. But I'm afraid if my son see this more and more he would do the same thing.

I reckon you just gotta make it clear to your son how wrong his father is for doing those things 🤔 Should do the trick, no? Regardless, I don't know if there is anything else to do. Kid's gotta make his own choices.

That said, if his dad is being abusive towards you, presumably he's being abusive to your son too, or will be, right? In which case, even if you don't call the cops on him or sue him, the kid should understand that it's bad to be like that.

By giving him attention, spend time together. Be respectful in style.

Have a third party deliver your son back and forth between the two of you so that you no longer have face-to-face contact with him.

Kinda hard to do that since he lives in another state 10 hours away from me and his son
