Would your kids like Y Bwthyn Bach for Christmas?

Y Bwthyn Bach (the small cottage) was presented to the Queen of England back in 1932 when she was a small child. It was made of left over materials from a new hospital, has four 5ft high rooms 2 up 2 down. It comes with working electric cooker, fridge, and running water.

The posh Wendy house has been passed down the Royal family and was last in the hands of Andrew, but they don't let him near kids these days.

There's debate as what to do with it now. Some say stick it in a museum, others house midgets in it.

But I want to know, would your kids like it as a Christmas present?

Yes it'll help teach my daughter to be a trad wife

My kids are too old but I'm sure some kids would like it as a playhouse. For that reason, it would be best in a museum of play, where kids can visit and play in the house, for a small fee, of course, paid by their parents, the fee to be used to maintain the house.

Museums are usually free here. I say just donate it to an orphanage or similar. Toys are meant to be played with. It's interesting that while most little girls pretend to be princesses, real princesses pretend to be poor housewives

No. It originally belonged to the Queen but it was used by others since but i don't no who. The story is on BBC news

Unless someone has high connections nobody's children will be spending Christmas at Y Bwthyn Bach.

I suggest keeping it at the Royal Lodge in Winsor, for the next Duke of York in a few years time.

Perhaps he might like a more mature lady from Wales to marry, do you think 18 years is too much of an age gap?

Obviously married life early is better for Royals, and marriage at 16 with a few children on the way could be perfect for Louis, and also could be an ideal role for a female from Wales.

Well, I don't have kids but I guess I could get it for my nieces. But I was actually thinking I might just keep it for myself 'cuz it's really cute and it's prolly bigger than my own little house.
