Friend just gave me a significant loan - should I get her a gift?

A good friend has offered a significant loan of $15K to help me out in a tight spot where my investment portfolio has gone down by 55% with little emergency fund.

She's just loaned the money and her birthday is in 3 days' time. I have been gifting her for the past few years and would like to do the same this time.

But I'm afraid it'd be seen as insensitive given she's just loaned me money? I'm not talking about a big gift, just something ~$100 as I usually do.

Am I overthinking this?

They are close enough of a friend to give you 15k but you can't ask them if it's weird if you get them a gift or not

I have always gotten them a gift every year so asking would be slightly off putting too. Plus it always a surprise gift of sorts. Also it was a loan w a written contract

I took a loan as I couldn't risk dipping into my investment portfolio which has tanked by a lot. There's still assets but just want to thank her for helping me out in a tricky situation w/o so much as batting an eyelid
