Yea, my dad is annoying as hell and has zero emotional intelligence but values morals extremely highly. He's also very stuck in his ways.

My mom is emotion first, logic later and always has a chip on her shoulder about something.

They both have extreme anxiety despite being very intelligent. It lead to explosive moments and constant breakdowns in communication.

Yeah, some people are just not meant to be if they can’t love each other right and it’s best for them to be separated to hopefully be love right elsewhere…
