Do you think my son will grow up to be gay?

So my son (age 12) is showing signs of femininity and enjoys doing girl things with his 2 sisters... he loooves when they put him in makeup and he will sometimes play dress-up with them putting on a dress, I have even seen him try to slip on a pair of my heels once. He also likes having his nails painted, and usually requests pink or something with sparkles. I have seen him dressed up as a girl putting on lipstick and posing like a girl with hand on hips in the mirror a few weeks ago.. what do you think? Is he going to be gay?

First off, it's possibly just a phase. A LOT of kids go through that. Secondly, he's more likely to end up a female impersonator or clothing designer or just a drag queen.
If he starts chasing after guys and wants romantic relationships with them, THEN, he's very probably gay!!
If all he's got around him all the time is you and his sisters, no guys, it's no wonder he's copying all of you! It kinda reminds me of my brother and all our friends in the neighborhood. All of them loved using our toy guns to play war on the streets of the neighborhood!! I hated it but, because if I DIDN'T join in, and play it with them, I'd have no one to play with!! I kept trying to get them to play Release or, Monsters (a game I made up) and, every so often, they'd play those but they nearly always wanted to play war so, I HAD to play it with them or be bored.
I used to work in a mail room and my boss acted and sounded VERY effeminate and I just assumed he might be gay, too! Sometimes he would even pretend to paw me like he was interested in me, sexually. I once asked if he was gay and he said he's not at all gay and is married with a few children! It's just the way he acted, possibly because, like your boy, all he knew growing up was girl stuff.
Then, there's me! I've been experimenting with pantyhose and mini skirts since I was about that age and even wore them on stage for 20 years with my band but, I have no interest at all in men other than as casual friends! Even if I WAS a girl, I'd most likely only be interested in women! I have fiance, we already consider ourselves to be married, even though we're still not and we plan to have kids in the near future... something I've been looking forward to most of my life!! And I can hardly wait for us to get started on that!!

being gay isn't like dresses. right? it's about romantic feelings to a certain gender. so i wouldn't worry

the only thing i hear him doing is stuff that is fun with his sisters. i had a big sister. she was my best friend. i played barbies with her, learned to do hair, etc, etc... i've never had any inclination towards romantic feelings for men

As long as he is happy why does it matter? He's going to be who he is not what you want him to be.

It’s a possibility as I have a best friend who did the same with her brother. He now is married and has a husband

I suppose it doesn't. though my husband has been trying to nudge him onto a masculine path as we have 2 girls and 1 boy.. and we aren't planning on anymore. so he is worried about not him not having kids in the future if he turns out to be gay

Has he puberty. If he has I'd guess yes.
