When going for a checkup do you usually go alone, or along with at least one family member person with you?

I always go alone, I have a genetic condition which demands quarterly doctors checkups and it's been this way all my life.
Most people seem to see doctors right around never, and I really hope that changes as there were times where if I had not gone to the doctor, my condition would've worsened.
And with people getting cancer or heart conditions which could've been prevented with a few visits, I ask that people please get back on health insurance and start seeing your doctors.
To me, going to the doctor is just another task, I see no reason to make my mom go out of her way to come, and she's the only person in my personal life that I desire to spend time with aside from other family.
I definitely wouldn't take my dad, me and him are not doing well together. If I had a girlfriend, I'd take her just so I wouldn't have to spend hours away from her. I'm clingy like that
I find particular specialists intimidating... a bit of post hospital PTSD, and a bit of them holding large sway over my wellbeing... so sometimes my wife attends with me. GPs and nurses I go alone.
Iโm not a child, and I can drive myself, so I usually go alone
I prefer to go alone so I can freely ask questions.

I always go alone. The only exception is when they are doing a test, like a colonoscopy, where I get drugged and they recommend that I don't drive.
Alone. I don't need assistance or emotional support for a mere checkup.
@SabinaV Alone, no family here. Have accompanied a lady friend or rather drove her there and waited for her having a long Stem Cell procedure.
@Bricealan Glad you were able to accompany her for bothering to.
I've had welcome assistance a couple of times in the last few years when visiting doctors.
Usually, though, I'm by myself.
I'll go alone thanks. Maybe my SO can come if they want to
At least one family member. I find it comforting.
The only time I brought someone with me to a checkup was my first mammogram.
Alone. Don't see why I would need anyone else for a checkup.
as a kid, i'd go with a family member. but as an adult, i go alone.

I go alone, don't have any family members to go with me.
Alone. At my age going with someone would be awkward
Why would I need to take some one with me? I always go alone.
If and when I would EVER go for a "checkup", it could be either way.
There is no other member of my family within 100 miles.
Always alone.
I can go by myself
