When sunbathing, who puts sunscreen on your back (and do they do your front too)?

I usually don't sunbathe because I am not the beach type of person. I hate to grill in the sun and I find staying on a beach a total waste of time. This is so unproductive.

If and when I go on a beach, then I will always be wearing a t-shirt on top of my bathing suit. This prevents me from having to put suntan lotion on my back or front and only on my arms, legs and face/ears and neck.

I do that by myself as I totally hate it when people touch me. You never know where those hands have been before and if they were washed or not.
