Well and also keep in mind everyone’s different too so someone could understand some men but not others. Maybe it can help having male friends but if you mean in the romantic sense. Everyone’s just so different and it’s best to get to know one person on that level. Because in the end

Doubtful. I have 2 brothers and aside from knowing men could be gross, and with one brother (and my father), that he would see women as servants to men, i didn't learn much else. I never saw them as sexual objects and wouldn't pay attention to anything regarding that aspect.

It wasn't until I finally gave men a chance to date me while in my 40s that I really learned what a real man was like. He didn't expect anything of me that I wasn't comfortable with, he treats me with respect, doesn't try to demean me with "mansplaining", and he is the sweetest guy I have ever known.

He doesn't compare to all men, as men aren't a monolith and only have one style of personality, but he is a great example of what a man should be.

It can help. Do you see the amount of dick size questions we get here? Like if your brother is anything like that asker, then he isn't going to be of much help. I have two brothers.

Brother 1 was a bit of a wildcard, a troublemaker so I didn't really ask him much.

Brother 2 however was more on the calmer side (Only made trouble when hanging out with Brother 1), so if I had a question, I could always reach out to him and sometimes that would help. I say sometimes, because he can be as vague as a side character in a movie.

What helped me most was online, gaming, you'll run into a lot of men, and you just pay attention to the things they say, about what they like, dislike. And with the more men you talk to, the more likes/dislikes/values you'll see come back. That's been my trick. Yes I have not one but two brothers, but one was crazy and the other one was vague. It doesn't always help.

That would depend on how "normal" their brothers are. One size does not fit all. I would know because I had two brothers and they were both a bit odd.
