If you have a big friend group, what stops you from adding someone new?

Basically as long as they won't make me look bad in the first few hours big friend groups are usually excited for more people.

Down to earth enough to fit in

Social enough to be willing to get along with new people

Has enough energy to keep up (this is a big one)

Has something interesting to contribute. Maybe they're funny or make people feel good or they have money to take part in group activities, maybe they're the voice of reason or add some kind of energy that makes the group more well rounded.

The time investment in the ones who I have currently. Friends just happen, I don't go out of my way to add new people. They just happen.
