If your teenage daughter gets pregnant, would you support raising the baby or abortion?

honestly i'd only allow abortion, and maybe adoption at birth if I find out when she's past the abortion window. to me children should only be for adult married couples. I won't let my hypothetical daughter be a teen (and probably soon to be) single mom who most likely as a result of all that, will struggle to graduate high school and might never make it to uni, and will not have a real youth.

I wouldn’t reduce it to a simple either/or.

I’d support her first emotionally and practically, so she can think clearly in a situation that’s already overwhelming.

Then we’d talk through all the options honestly, including what each choice really means long term.

At the end of the day, it’s her life and her body, so my role would be to guide, not decide for her.

I have a relative who was a teen parent, and almost our whole family did whatever they could help. Regardless of the circumstances, in most cases it takes a village, so even if she hadn’t been a teen, we still support each other as family.
