I think that there is nothing wrong with presenting an abortion as an option equal to all the rest. What you want is kind of super irrelevant at this point. What's done is done. And what you'd do if you were pregnant as a teen doesn't matter. None of this, "Well if I were you..." stuff. You're not the pregnant one.

I think what's more important is supporting her in whatever choice she makes. You can get mad at her poor choices that resulted in her pregnancy (assuming she wasn't assaulted obviously) AND also fully support her in her choice to either terminate the pregnancy or give birth.

I'd tell her that I can do one of three things:

- Buy vitamins to help her have a healthy pregnancy.

- Call an adoption agency and figure out how that works.

- Call an abortion clinic.

The point is to remain neutral on it. What I think she should do kind of becomes irrelevant.

Oh boy, this is a hard one. On one hand, I don't think her body could handle giving birth at such a young age, it could also put a strain on her mental health. On the other hand, everyone should have a right on what to do with their own bodies.

Personally, if my daughter ever got pregnant when she is still a teen, I would remain neutral and support her. I would be okay with whatever she chose. It's not necessary that she may have forgotten birth control, the condom could have broken, the pill may not have worked... it's not like contraceptives are 100% safe anyway, so best to let her figure this out and make her own decision.

I would give her the option of abortion, adoption and continuing with the pregnancy. If she decided to opt for abortion, I would fix an appointment with a gynecologist and make sure that it is done before she is 12 weeks along. If she chooses adoption, I will make sure the baby goes to a good home with loving parents. If she chooses to continue with the pregnancy and keep the baby, I will support her emotionally and financially up till she could find a job that could support the baby's needs, like diapers, baby food etc. (baby food usually tends to be expensive AF), but yeah.

It is wrong for a parent to force their pregnant daughter to have an abortion. It is all about perspectives though. Some may just want a good life for their daughter and think the baby may hinder her future goals, but I would not force my daughter to do anything. It is her choice.

Well Debby was a terrible mom, was not ready to be a mom.
She intentionally lied about birth control and stopped taking it to get pregnant to try and force him into a relationship, so sense she did it under false pretenses through lies and deseption what she did was rape him, cause he didn't consent to all that.
Wasn't she also a minor at the time? Yeah I don't know if I'd want my girl to give birth that young either cause I don't know if a child could handle it, and children don't get to make the rules, they are stupid and immature, that's why legal gaurdians have to approve everything they do till they are 18.

All I know is Debby is human garbage and a peice of shit that shouldn't have had a kid and only got it through rape.
Aside from Debby for anyone else it would be a hard decision to make, it's not cut and dry or black and white.

That's tough one. I don't think any parent should. But that's a perfect world. A girl under 18 is not worldly enough to fully understand or appreciate the demands a baby requires. And monetarily speaking is only half the battle. My sister had a baby as a teenager. And we all should be as lucky as to make a mistake as great as my niece. But this still is a fortunate outcome. My sister sacrificed a lot of her teenage years for my niece. I know she doesn't regret it but still.

I guess what I'm saying is I think a parent should listen to thier child. They know better than anyone that's child's strengths and weaknesses. They have a better idea than anyone howl up to the task of raising a child they are. And they should respond accordingly. Ultimately thier daughter (or sons) life is THIER's. A parent cannot protect them forever, nor should they try.

Sorry, I know that's not a definite answer. But it's the best I got.

Not necessarily, the parents just want the best for the child and many times it's a very emotional thing depending on the situation, it's worse if the daughter is young and went through a traumatic event. I hope that's never the case but I don't know what my hypothetical reaction would be.

I would never force my daughter to get an abortion, but I’d be very disappointed with her for having sex before marriage and I’ll be very desolate with the guy who got her pregnant. well the parents (grandparents?) obviously don't want to be the one to end up taking care of the child because they WILL. they will be paying for it etc. a teen can't get a good job to support herself and the baby like come on... so i understand that point of view. but i also don't agree with abortion for me personally, but it's the TEENS body/choice, not her parents. it's just a very bad situation to be in overall.

Yes, it's wrong, regardless if you are pro-life or pro-choice. And it'd be equally wrong to force a pregnant teenager to NOT have an abortion, if they cannot be a capable parent or handle childbirthing labor.

If having a baby would be detrimental to the mothers health, yes I would try to force her to have an abortion. If the mother could die carrying the baby or giving birth to it I would try to make her get an abortion. That's probably the only reason I would do it.
