or do you think teen girls are not mentally and biologically prepared for a baby? and they should get it aborted?
2.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. With animals - dogs cats cows - when they give birth too early they inevitably bad mothers. Won't let the offspring suckle.
So I'm opting that teen girls will be bad mother as well. Technically girls can become pregnant after puberty which might be as early as 8 but their bodies still have a lot of growing to do. The birth canal through the pelvis become larger in the prime reproductive years 18 to early 20s.
When boys start getting erections they want to use them. But that doesn't seem to apply to girls post puberty. There seems to me there must be additional mechanisms governing when girls start having sex and it should be linked to the maturity of their body.
Female loss of virginity across the globe and cultures averages to late 17's. Yes there cultural aspects to this like arranged marriages that is going to help group around that age. Men definitely have a strong preference for that age group.
So whilst post pubescent girls can conceive I think there must be more than culture that groups female loss of virginity so tightly towards 17/18. I would suspect it must have something to do with body maturation.
So in general I would think teen girls should not carry a baby but be aborted.00 Reply

teen girls are extremely immature and generally would make terrible parents. they already are super irresponsible and stupid with their own life, they are definitely not mentally ready to take care of another life, especially a very fragile life that requires full dedication and 24/7 assistance. nature isn't perfect. many natural things are bad. nature doesn't care that teen girls are dumb. and it doesn't care either if all babies are happy, cared for, safe and well educated. it only wants species to keep themselves alive. women are fertile until 40, and very fertile until 30, we only have 1-3 kids anyways, there's no need to rush. the are much better and smarter moments in life to get pregnant and start a family than your teen years. i do think they should get an abortion if it's in the early stages of the pregnancy (i dont believe in abortion in the middle or late pregnancy personally) if they are under 18, they will be terrible at raising the kid or they'll immaturely throw the responsibility on their parents. if they're caught later on, they should put the baby to adoption so they dont hurt the child or burden their parents. if they're 18-19 they can keep it if they feel truly ready, but i do think they are still too young and immature for kids even though biologically they are ready and are legal adults.

9 moI support female resources to ensure life , liberty , and pursuit of happiness.
A child (under 18) having a baby out of a rapist’s assault against her will , financial instability , and not ready to make a commitment / no one around to act as secondary caretaker deserves to be heard and have their rights over the rights of the unborn.
This right is carried to women too. I’m Pro Choice. Female Gender deserve their right to such as it regards pregnancy / pregnancy prevention.
If you are against the idea of abortion then you made a choice on a personal level , just as if you were to side with Pro Choice making a choice for your personal benefit. Being forced to carry a rapist’s child to term and or simply being forced to carry an unplanned pregnancy to term even with instability in your personal life against your will is wrong whether child or adult.
Pro Choice always!

Most teens would not carry a baby to term if they didn’t get raped and most wouldn’t carry a baby to term willfully if they knew what was at stake. Proper education and proper guidance allows them to make the right decision, I’m against under 21 pregnancy let alone teen pregnancies, a lot of complications come from that , which result in death.

9 moAll you religious folks who will come at me saying "they did thousands of years ago" can screw off. It's 2025, not 200 BCE, when your life expectancy was 35 at best. It's a rare occurrence that a teen-ager is ready to handle a child these days, not just mentally and emotionally, but financially as well. In my opinion, it's unreasonable to think you're "protecting" an unborn, that doesn't have a soul attached to it just before it's born, by forcing a teen to give birth. If they can't afford or don't want the child and it goes into the adoption/orphanage system, anything can happen and it's usually not good.
Bottom line for me is this: I don't have a uterus and no males do. It's not my decision what should be done, it's the woman's and her doctor's, and they should have the right to do it. My opinion about it is nothing more than that - an opinion, and it shouldn't shape her right to decide what to do.

9 moWell on the one hand, risk aversion would say wait until you are fully mature and financially secure to get knocked up by a committed partner.
On the other hand, countless teenage girls throughout human history have created a long tradition of teen pregnancy. They are at the peak of their fertility. Health risks for mother and baby are generally lower at 18-19 than they will be at 25, 30, 35, or 40. Unfortunately, lifetime economic risk is usually a lot higher. But then again, having kids at a younger age means you're done by 40 rather than 55.
Everyone gets to make choices. And live with their choices.

It's unfortunate that finances come into it at all. We live in a society where you can barely survive if you don't have money, but that naturally has nothing to do with having children. If she has support, particularly from other women, she and the baby will be fine. Also, as a female, you're done having children whenever you stop having your menses, usually 45-50. Men make a choice when they will stop.
9 moI don’t support teen pregnancy because it’s a big responsibility that many teens aren’t ready for mentally or physically. It’s important for young people to have the support and resources to make the best choice for themselves, whether that’s parenting or abortion. Every situation is different, and they deserve respect and care.

9 moDepends on the situation and the girl. If she's high IQ and mentally stable not likely to pass on birth defects. If the pregnancy is intentional and she's got enough support to raise the child in a healthy environment. Then yes. If we're talking some crack head then no, she shouldn't breed, ever.

9 mowhat i support is unrestricted access should they be needed in case a teen pregnancy happens and regardless if they decide to keep it or not. so financial assistance, birthc control, all of the above.
I don't exactly condone it but realize hormones are high and its just gonna happen so... we may as well have these services at the ready jic they are needed. so its like in a perfect world no, but i our reality i understand things happen.
00 Reply 1.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I think its fine but i was a teen mother myself so probably can't speak on this to much lol

u 9 moSupport pregnant teens, not teen pregnancy. I don’t believe that teens should have children but I do heavily support teens who are already in that situation.

9 moTeenage pregnancy is inadvisable for many reasons such as the lass' likely emotional and physical unreadiness for such a life-altering undertaking, and often lack of financial stability with which to become a mother.(Canadian babies average nearly $300,000 Canuck to raise from birth to eighteen, and how many 18-year-olds leave home today?)
I'm pro-choice (though personally an anti-abortion Catholic), so it's the lady's choice whether to bear or abort her fetus.
00 Reply No I don't! A girl should enjoy her teenage years and experiment but do it responsibly.

9 moThe vast majority. MOST aren't & shouldn't become parents. In fact, a lot of "adults" shouldn't find like minded dimwits to spawn with.
00 Reply 3.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Teens are biologically prepared to give birth, otherwise they couldn't get pregnant. I don't think they're mentally ready, though. No teen is mentally ready to raise a child. Sometimes full adults are not mentally ready to do so.

9 moI support making support and resources readily available to support teen mothers as they go through a truly terrifying experience
00 Reply 3.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, though it's not about being mature or ready enough. It's just bleh more kids
00 Reply2.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Being pro-life, I don't support abortion at any age. But females need to be mature enough to handle having and raising a baby/child before they become pregnant
00 Reply2.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I don't support underage sex; even if both parties are juveniles. If this does happen and results in a pregnancy; I think adoption is the best way forward.

9 moIt's not the baby's fault. If she is WAY underage and medically determined not to able to gestate, abortion is an option.
