Yup.

No child should be forced to live if their parent (s) aren't ready for them.

It sucks being a child to parents who aren't ready or don't want the kid.

These anti-abortion rulings are damaging to the kids more than anything. There's going to be so many people who weren't ready and shouldn't ever be parents popping out children.

Especially given the total lack of sex ed in the US, it's gonna be really bad. Idiocracy isn't just a film anymore.

I actually don't unless it's for an exceptional reason or it's medically necessary like something is seriously wrong with the fetus or the mother's health/life is at risk or even for rape/incest cases. So I am mostly pro-choice. I hope late term abortions stay rare. However, I don't believe in punishing a woman who seeks out a late term abortion.

That is 1% of all abortions and the reason it happens because the fetuse has a condition that is not compatible with life. Holes in the brain, the two hemispheres of the brain didn't form creating a cyclops things like that. Even born will only suffer in terrible pain for it's very short life.

So it's more about the mercy for the child and that is a conversation with your doctor on whats happening and what to do.

Virtually all late term abortions are due to emergency situations. The pregnancy is no longer viable or poses a severe health risk to the mother. In many cases names are already picked out, baby showers have been thrown, nurseries are decorated. No one wants a late term abortion, but when they are necessary they are very necessary.

invariably it will be a doctor (at least in the UK) that mentions this.

it is not a simple process and is not taken lightly.

After I would say like 28 weeks then I think it should only be done if the mother's life is in danger. They have plenty of time beforehand to make the decision for any personal reasons.

For medical issues, yes.
At this point, you already know if you want the child or not. 24 weeks is 6 months, more than enough to think about it and be sure.
And if we keep expanding the limit, someday, you'll have people asking to euthanize babies after birth.
