Holes in the brain, the two hemispheres of the brain didn't form creating a cyclops things like that. Even born will only suffer in terrible pain for it's very short life.
So it's more about the mercy for the child and that is a conversation with your doctor on whats happening and what to do.10 Reply

+1 yYup.
No child should be forced to live if their parent (s) aren't ready for them.
It sucks being a child to parents who aren't ready or don't want the kid.
These anti-abortion rulings are damaging to the kids more than anything. There's going to be so many people who weren't ready and shouldn't ever be parents popping out children.
Especially given the total lack of sex ed in the US, it's gonna be really bad. Idiocracy isn't just a film anymore.14 Reply- +1 y
You're still punishing the child.
The kid didn't ask to be born. They shouldn't have to suffer because you want to punish the parents. - +1 y
You're right.
So why punish even more people who didn't ask to be born by restricting their birthing parent's access to abortion?
Just because you and I have been inflicted with life doesn't mean every single unborn child needs to be forced into this world.
The reality is that most people don't know the consequences of unprotected sex. Most men think raw dogging it is fine if they pull out (it isn't, pre-cum contains sperm and sperm can live inside the body longer than outside it).

I actually don't unless it's for an exceptional reason or it's medically necessary like something is seriously wrong with the fetus or the mother's health/life is at risk or even for rape/incest cases. So I am mostly pro-choice. I hope late term abortions stay rare. However, I don't believe in punishing a woman who seeks out a late term abortion.

+1 yVirtually all late term abortions are due to emergency situations. The pregnancy is no longer viable or poses a severe health risk to the mother. In many cases names are already picked out, baby showers have been thrown, nurseries are decorated. No one wants a late term abortion, but when they are necessary they are very necessary.

u +1 yI am opposed to any abortion on demand as a means of birth control.

+1 yAgain it’s a necessary evil.
after 24 weeks then their must be very clear medical reasons for this.
invariably it will be a doctor (at least in the UK) that mentions this.
it is not a simple process and is not taken lightly.
it’s usually severe issues detected or life at risk10 ReplyAfter I would say like 28 weeks then I think it should only be done if the mother's life is in danger. They have plenty of time beforehand to make the decision for any personal reasons.
Thats just my opinion and how I would probably run things if I was in charge00 Reply- 896 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yI support all abortion. If a woman doesn't want a kid, she wouldn't have to get one just because it's something her partner, society or government wants of her.
Come on guys it's not that hard to understand.21 Reply- +1 y
I personally don't want kids, but I like the concept of planned parenthood so much so that I don't want it to force it on a couple of horny teens
1.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. For medical issues, yes.
At this point, you already know if you want the child or not. 24 weeks is 6 months, more than enough to think about it and be sure.
And if we keep expanding the limit, someday, you'll have people asking to euthanize babies after birth.00 Reply6.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No doctor will perform an elective abortion that late. They will perform an abortion only the fetus is not viable or the mother’s health is endangered.
00 Reply3.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I support not abortion except in the which the mother will literally die if she doesn’t get one. Like say she has cancer and needs to go on chemo you have the right to abort beyond that no abortion

+1 yNot without a valid medical excuse.
Though my mind on early term abortions has changed a bit and I feel like you should be able to get an abortion as long as you got the money and it's early term.02 Reply- +1 y
The fact that they completely abolished roe v Wade is idiotic to the highest degree

Though I'm not saying you should be able to just go to a vending machine and get an abortion.
6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Not unless the health of the mother is at risk.
I think early term abortion should be available, though.10 Reply1.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Only for absolute medical and life threatening health reasons.

20 Reply27.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, but I really do not know what defines "late term". As far as I can tell there is no real consensus and everyone is just making up a number to suit their own agenda.
