What’s one thing you’d change about your family?

Each family is different each parent is different each child is different..
Some families your born in to and you swear you got changed at Birth in the hospital
There's always one child that is treated like the black sheep of the family because they have their own ways
or your family is broke apart through divorce
Or you have one parent who is lonely and they manipulate and mold their child so the child is depending on that parent for life and wants them to be with them the rest of their life because they're lonely
But no matter what the family goes through everybody has to come together because the message the experience of it all is no matter how different you are you have to understand love and what the word family means and what the word love means and no matter what love has to win out because that's why we are all here to be different but still come together as one and have that Bond of true love the commitment of love no matter what you have to go through love has to win because that's the most important thing in life in this world
I'd change how close we are
No not to be closer to not be so close. When you have family and your close like we are everybody tends to be all in your business
What would you change
Damn im sorry but just out of curiosity what type of jokes do they make
They sound fun to me 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the MHO
After moving out of my parents' place, I realized how much I was living like in a cocoon, in a protected environment.
Mind you, we were allowed all the freedoms we wanted because they trusted us. I would go with my dog for hours in the woods and my mom would never know where I was. As long as I was back for dinner, all was good. She knew I had the protection of my dog that would defend me if things got bad. Thankfully, it never happened.
While I am grateful for their devotion for their children and making sure we were cared for, I sometimes wished they would have been lest strict when it came to doing homework and house chores. No playing with friends until all the homework was done.
However, in retrospect, I am very grateful that they were so strict about those things because it has taught me to prioritize my tasks and to ensure that my studies get all my attention first. This way of thinking now was not shared in the days I was still living at home.
Dear lord. Like @Circushowcowboy you would not survive back home. I only have one to deal with here. Taylor is on my level. My family? They are advanced idiots.
I love my family and respect their lifestyle but I just wish sometimes they weren't as super religious. I am Christian but more spiritual than religious. I love secular music. Listen to it all the time but my mom sort of made a snide comment about one of the songs I was listening to even though she would have listened to it before she got saved.
Thank you for MHO! 💕

Ya know, my family can be a total pain in the ass. Especially my parents. My mom drives me up the wall. So does my brother. My parents have totally impacted me negatively I'm my life with shame and guilt and I developed bad habits because of it that almost ruined my life. But I used all the negativity to dig deep and put my big boy pants on. I went to therapy and learned how to read a feelings wheel - lol. So now I look at what I have and what I've accomplished with gratitude and it's motivation for me to push myself for myself and not other people.
I could bitch and whine about how I would like to change things but I know now that the power for change is within me and not other people.
Good question though. Cheers.
My sister always wanting to know better, even if she doesn't have a clue about a certain topic. It freaks me out. Other than that, I'm fine. LOL
I wish my parents were more open minded and cared about more things than their business. They go to vacations just to work on their laptop in different environment.
That's great
That's such a dad purchase lol
Sorry but, one thing is not gonna cut it with my family. I'm gonna need at least 143 things I could change. But they're all dead. I buried them all. I'm the last surviving one. So it's a moot point
I love my family with all my heart but I wish they weren't quite so much, The Beverly Hillbillies and stuck in the 20th Century.
I wish my second (and current) husband was the father of all of my children.
My family is enormous and I wish we were closer to each other.
They wouldn’t be such bullies like others I know
Lols no they’re all grown by now 😒
😂😂😂 whatever! No one is under like 22 I think
Lmao can’t stand you
Pffttt I can survive anything 💪
Lolss but your sister is nice at least!
Lmaooo
Well gosh forbid our families were ever to team up then. That I have zero confidence in surviving
First Christmas with the boyfriend and I asked her to help me make the salad. Know what she did?
She went to the fridge to get a cucumber and pops her head out and asked “Abby, why does the biggest cucumber have a piece of masking tape on it, and why are there notches cut into it?”. 🙄
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Haha well that’s just part of the job description for being a big sister
I’d wish for my dad to still be here with us… he died in 2019, age 54.
To actually have one around, but that ship sailed a long time ago.
They would listen when I say something. The first time.
That certain family members hadn't died when they were young.
Their location lol, we live too far from each other 🥴
I would have liked to have had siblings or aunts or uncles or cousins.
Get them off facebook and talk on the phone!
That my uncle wasn't my uncle
I'd like us to be closer, all of us.
Communication.
nothing. They're crazy but perfect
most of my family are morons
They all drop dead
Nothing
