I've heard people say it's just the way I was raised but this question here is about what would change about your childhood, you can go in detail if you choose but on the other hand you don't have too but at the end of the day it's your life you don't even have to answer the question

I had educated yet illiterate narcissistic manipulative mother.
Touchwood, I'm now becoming what I exactly wanted to become.
But it would have been amazing if I had someone make me smarter, strong, and confident from a younger age.
On the opposite I was caged inside a stereotypical bubble full of ignorance, comparison, criticism, deception and dictatorship.

I wish my parents weren't so strict and over protective with me. I wasn't aloud off the block until I was 16 years old. Lights had to be off at 10 pm. We couldn't sleep past 8am when my dad was home.

My dad was a sergeant in the army for 25 years so he was very strict.

I’ve come a long way from what I once was, but had to figure things out and make things happen entirely on my own. I even had to teach myself how to ride a two-wheel bike. My parents were actually backward cowards, too afraid to even explore and even live. I broke out of a lot of shells, surpassed them in everything, and have a much more positive life.
