Buying a fucking pick up truck and keeping it in the garage without saying anyone which later scares the shit out of my mom.

Another dad thing my dad does is sell bikes. He is a bike dealer. He sells these tall Triumph bikes which he could barely ride because he's a short king.

I once said I like cream buns and our fridge had 10 cream buns stocked all the time for 2 years till I got sick of it and told my dad and he became sad. Now my current fixation is pumpkin flower pancakes and he gets those flowers them anytime they are available in vegetable market and he even planted pumpkin seeds in our garden so I can have as many pumpkin flower pancakes as possible before leaving for college.

My dad is a civil engineering and though he's now in business and is not involved with construction, we still have so much wood and sand and cement in our garage for so reason. I asked him why and he said those are real men necessity. I replied "Man, you wear mom's Jasmine tea perfume, you're talking about real men necessity?"

He got offended and later got this old spice aftershave which smells like sweat and leather. I regret saying that.

Probably eating everyone’s leftovers like he was the family garbage can lol..
If I couldn’t finish my food, I’d just hand him my plate 💀…

Then he bought a Harley and joined a club, so I feel like that really completed the full dad arc lol.

My dad is more like a character dad from cartoons. He randomly gets really into topics and will just immerse himself completely in them.

I recently saw a picture from a vacation we took out west and he all of a sudden was acting like a cowboy. Was laying with his back against a tree, had the cowboy hat tilted down and the cowboy boots with his one leg over the other

I've never seen him raising his voice, the harshest loss of self-control I've seen was him grumbling. I know I must be romanticising because I don't know the full story.

But I remember this fatherly figure as is: A peaceful guy, smiling his way through hardship.
