For example after I go to bed if someone leaves the living room door open
The dog will sleep in the living room
That annoys me because I don't allow him in the living room from in the sofa
He brings in that dog smell
He's not allowed on the sofa and he knows that
And I know it sounds trivial but it annoys me and I know my daughter doesn't care
Then again I can blame myself because maybe I left the door open

By realising that these small annoyances are meaningless when there’s more serious, pressing issues going in the world. Depending on how old your daughter is, speak to her and explain the dog must not go into the living room. If you don’t like the dog being on the sofa but sometimes fail to stop it from happening, maybe put a big blanket down.
I remember now it was my fault leaving the door open
But in still annoyed
Well normally I just move my mind on to something else, but for that I would tell my daughter to stop leaving the door open
We have no annoyances.
