What did you buy your mom for Mother’s Day this year?

I bought my mom Chanel hand cream for her birthday and I bought these for Mothers Day too ♥️

I didn't buy her anything. I went over to her place before she woke and stole her dog.

I left her a note on the kitchen counter with a coffee letting her know I took her dog so she could sleep in instead of having to wake up and walk it.

I then took her dog and my own two dogs to the park so they could run around for a couple hours and burn themselves out of energy before returning the pooch and shooting the shit with my mom for an hour or so after she woke up.

Gifts are cheap. Time is priceless.

I bought her flowers and dinner for our family of 8. She is 95 years old, sits in her chair watching TV all day long, never goes anywhere except a doctor's office, and she doesn't need a damned thing, so there is really nothing I can give her.

My mom has an expensive taste. She likes fine jewelry. She never really liked my Mother’s Day gifts from previous years and I can’t afford the jewelry she likes so I don’t really get her anything. I just say happy Mother’s Day to her. She said this year she’s going to buy herself jewelry. Occasionally my dad will buy her a piece of nice jewelry if he truly thinks she will like it.
